When I’m not writing, I’m cooking. Or thinking about cooking. Really, I’m thinking about eating. Let’s just say I’m a food enthusiast. Here’s where much of that noodling happens: my 1965 St. Charles dream Kitchen, which I lovingly call The Chartreuse Kitchen. With its cheery steel cabinets, white Formica® countertops (akin to Nancy Sinatra’s go-go boots), Hide-A-Can and Frigidaire Flair wall oven (Product of General Motors USA) it’s my daily inspiration. For cooking. For writing. And, yes, for dreaming.
